Code to unlock the door to the castle of knowledge

 

Running story for numbers and putting in fairy tales.  I didn't have much time to do this so I put it up thinking I would erase and add  a scene from my story but the students really liked it.  I moved the 1 over and now I'm adding each number as we go. They are a code to unlock the door that is keeping Simeli mountain from opening.  I found the story online and I've been tweaking it and making up riddles that I end my story with.  It's been a lot of work.

Not the actual picture from my ML book  but the top one is a practice I did to guide the students.  I told the tale of Rose Red and Snow White and used the golden Bear for B.

My Dragon for Michaelmas!  The dragon came from combining Grimm fairy tales and a running story about two children on their way to the castle of knowledge.  The form drawing was two spirals coming out of the dragons nose. 

They loved this one!
